How Check-Ins Work
WorkstationCheck-ins let staff know when a contact has arrived. In the current interface, check-ins appear on ZynoWorkstation as a waiting notification in the sidebar dock rather than as a full contact history screen.
Permission required
You need access to ZynoSuite and the contact profile to respond to check-ins.
Where check-ins appear
When there are unacknowledged check-ins for the current Workstation install location, the sidebar dock shows a row like 1 check-in waiting or 2 check-ins waiting.
The row also shows the oldest waiting check-in time.
Respond to a check-in
- Select the check-in row in the sidebar dock.
- Review the Check-Ins popover.
- Select the contact's check-in.
ZynoSuite acknowledges the unacknowledged check-ins for that contact and opens the contact profile.
Check-in sources
Check-ins can be created by configured check-in sources such as display, mobile, or install-based workflows. The staff-facing CRM screen currently focuses on receiving and acknowledging those arrivals.
Members with a physical zyno.id Keytag can scan their own keychain or printed tag on a barcode reader at ZynoWorkstation so staff can pull up the contact profile for check-in.
Location matching
The dock row appears for check-ins that match the current Workstation install location. If a check-in is expected but does not appear, confirm that the workstation is assigned to the correct location.
