Public Form Sharing

WebWorkstationMobile

Share a public link, embed, or QR code so people can complete a form in a browser. New responses show up in ZynoForms submissions.

Users with Form Builder access can manage a form's public link, embed snippet, and QR code from ZynoForms > Form Builder. People completing a public form do not need a ZynoSuite account.

Permission required

Viewing submissions requires ZynoForms access. Sharing and public-link settings require Form Builder access.

How public forms work

  1. A person opens the public form link.
  2. ZynoSuite loads the current form definition.
  3. The person fills out each page.
  4. They select Continue to move through pages.
  5. They can select Back after moving past the first page.
  6. On the final page, they select Submit or the submit label configured for that form.
  7. ZynoSuite records the submission and shows a success message.

If the form is opened again before its saved progress expires, the browser may restore in-progress answers.

Public form links include the organization and form identity. Set a link name in Form Builder settings to make the URL easier to recognize. Some links can also include a specific form version.

Languages and branding

Forms can show a language selector when translations are available. Forms can also display a title, logo, theme colors, and custom styling.
